This painting of the old gatehouse on Otis Reservoir, Ma., was selected by the Berkshire Carousel committee to be painted on one of the pictorial boards of a reconstructed antique carousel. Artists were invited to submit paintings of Berkshire County scenes. The paintings will be digitally scanned and then screened onto the actual carousel. Many volunteers are carving and painting the carousel horses. The carousel is estimated for completion in 2013.
